Best Project Award 2011
For the Best Multi-use Community Scheme/Complex Project of 50 years of Construction Industry in Tanzania (at the 50th Anniversary of Independence) in 2011 for the MITU building in Mwanza.
The Award was presented by the President, His Excellency J.M. Kikwete.
This is the only architectural award in Tanzania. All Community Facilities Development including Housing, Health, Educational and Religious buildings of the last 50 years were eligible for the Awards; nominations were also open to the public.
